Marvels Spider-Man 2 | Story & Gameplay Breakdown | Shared Skill Tree. What's going on guys? RBG here bringing you a breakdown on the Gameplay Reveal trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man 2. There were a lot of cool things that were shown off such as the character switch feature. As well as some of the new bosses and enemy types which I'll try to cover in full in this video. But before we dive into it I gotta ask that you thumbs up the video. Yeah I know its annoying getting this request at the very beginning of the video. But YouTube's algorithm sorta encourages it. But yeah guys after 2 years we've finally gotten a chance to see what Marvel's Spider-Man 2's gameplay will entail. Which is crazy because it seems like just yesterday that we were hearing the main antagonist Kraven the Hunter ask and I quote "will 1 of you finally give me what I desire?" And now we officially have an explanation behind that saying. Shortly after the Showcase Playstation posted an article on their blog site going further into detail about the game. Insomniac's Senior Community Manager went on to say that this version of Kraven who'll be making his Earth 1048 debut is eager to find an equal. We see him looking frustrated after surprising someone who thought they could best him only to be caught by the notorious hunter. And man I just gotta say that this game has a really good look. Like I know I say that every year but the way Insomniac continues to improve on the visuals is extremely impressive. Especially when it comea to the facial performances. Speaking of which Kraven's voice and motion performer has been revealed to be Jim Pirri. Whom some of you may know him for his roles as King Regis from Final Fantasy 15, Angelo Bronte from Red Dead Redemption 2, and Boozer from Days Gone. His likeness will be implanted on this menacing and buff figure to help further sell the facial expressions of Kraven The Hunter.

But as I was saying we see an aggravated Spider-Man who comes by way of the Black Symbiote suit. And surprisingly this thing has a lot of fans feeling indifferent in terms of its design. You got some like myself who absolutely love and you have others saying it looks too busy and should be smoother. And I guess I can see where the detractors are coming from. But in my opinion it looks like the perfect mix of the new Advanced suit and the symbiote. Like you can see the design patterns going along the arms and legs. And I also like how certain parts look like actual muscle tendons. It just has that aesthetic that reconfirms that the suit is very much alive. And since this version of the Black suit is essentially a varient of the Advanced suit I'm hoping that we'll see this with other suits. Which not only alter the design of the black suit but also change and enhance the abilities with them. But as you can see the weapons wheel that has not only been a stable in the Marvel's Spider-Man games but pretty much all Insomniac titles is now a thing of the past. Instead we'll utilizing the four face buttons with either L1 or R1. And according to Insomniac players had better get cozy with the L1 button because you're gonna love it. That's basically gonna be the go button you'll be holding as you press the usual action buttons to perform devastating moves using the symbiote. Meanwhile R1 will be tethered towards gadgets. According to Insomniac the new Symbiote combat abilities can neutralize our new headstrong opponents with a little finesse. As you can see Spider-Man will feature an ability that allows him to smash an enemy against a wall or hard surface.
