Insomniac Games has released a new gameplay trailer for Marvel's Wolverine, confirming the PlayStation 5 exclusive will launch in Fall 2026. The visceral trailer was shown during Sony's State of Play event on September 25, 2025, and showcased a brutal and mature tone for the game.

The nearly two-minute-long trailer shared a detailed look at Logan and his adamantium claws cutting through enemies like paper. Any concerns about Insomniac toning down the blood and gore for the game were laid to rest. Marvel's Wolverine is as R-rated as they come.

Unlike Insomniac's Spider-Man series, the trailer confirms a much darker and gorier experience, with Wolverine dismembering enemies and engaging in brutal claw combat.

The footage offers a first look at gameplay, featuring fast and ferocious combat against a variety of enemies, including cyborgs and giant robots. One standout sequence shows Wolverine clawing his way down the side of a falling building.

Australian actor Liam McIntyre is confirmed to voice and provide motion capture for Logan. Creative director Marcus Smith notes that Logan will be portrayed as an "unreliable narrator" in the story.
