Mass Effect 2 - Jacob's Loyalty Mission, Shotgun Infiltrator
Insanity mode. Using shotgun and maxed out Warp Ammo, Assassination cloak and Assassin passive. This was actually my first attempt at this, and I am sure there could have been things I could have handled better.
Obviously before this there was the Collector Ship mission where I got the shotgun from. You can one shot normal Collectors (not Harbinger) by shooting from cloak even when they have full biotic barriers up.
Considering using Stasis on my next try with Jack in the squad so I keep at least a level 3 Warp Ammo on my gun. Not sure though whether the damage buff from Stasis would compensate for Warp Ammo but that would be the idea behind it. Also helps keep the enemies still.
There are a couple of drawbacks for the shotgun Infiltrator that I could see, compared to other classes using shotguns. First of all, chain killing things fast can be a chore. You need to charge your Geth Shotgun, release the first shot on an enemy, cloak doesn't break, shoot the second normal shot to the second enemy. Then you are left vulnerable and need to find cover until you get your next cloak.
You don't get any time slows slows from Charge (or Adrenaline Rush if you were a soldier) and in some cases it might be easier to miss someone, especially if they are backing off from you even while cloaked. It seems to be some bug, the enemies won't shoot you when you are cloaked, but sometimes they see you and back off.
Cloak stops your regen and you don't get your shields back up like you would with Charge. Maybe rather than using Warp Ammo, I could use Improved Geth Shield. I'd get still some weapon damage, to which I could add Jack's Warp ammo, that would make a total of 45% weapon damage rather than 50% weapon damage but then I'd have shields to put up back up after I get out of cloak if I time my cooldowns right.
