Mass Effect 2 - Renegade Sentinel Insanity - Intro/Genesis/Lazarus Station
What with the awesomeness of Mass Effect 3 slowly creeping up on us and all, I'm planning on doing an entire Renegade playthrough first then a Paragon playthrough when it's done. It could take quite a while, though, especially since I'll be very busy the next few days (mostly with moving), so if I don't put up another video by tonight, it probably won't be until next week.
While I was planning this, I was originally 50/50 on whether to play an Engineer or Infiltrator, but then it hit me, if I'm going to be playing a Total Insanity playthrough, I'm definitely going to need to use a class I'm very familiar with. This is actually going to be my first Total Insanity playthrough (because I'm not an achievement whore, and there's usually no other reason to do one [note if anyone has all achievements, you can bet he/she has no life and is definitely just an achievement whore (that or doing a complete playthrough on YouTube), since there are several you would just never get during normal play (esp. a few that you have to be playing a specific class just to get and you never play that class, like in my case)]), whereas normally I would generally switch my difficulty around depending on my mood at that particular moment (and I usually play N7 missions on lower difficulties so I can get them out of the way quickly).
This character is "John" and not "Xer" because I only name my main character after myself, and would never stick my name on a full Renegade character. I also would normally never stick my face on an annoyingly stupid and shallow full Renegade Shepard, but I did just this once for the sake of YouTube videos.
Keep in mind I actually don't really believe in Bonus Powers, mostly because I just don't think they're necessary. In my opinion, the classes are perfectly fine and balanced as they are. I picked Energy Drain because it's nearly exactly the same as Overload, which I already have as a Sentinel, and first chance I get I plan to reset its points into Overload. The only reason I even go out of my way to do it that way is because I automatically get a point in it that I don't want to waste. I'll have an extra point I have very little use for in the end anyway, though.
Note I have every single DLC except for all the special promotional stuff (not counting Blood Dragon Armor, which I have as well).
