This is a serious game breaking bug which appears only in certain scenarios. I have completed the game without any issues when playing a dry run from scratch, but when I imported my ME2 save this bug occurs. I think this bug is related to Wrex, a krogan squad member that can be killed or saved in ME1. If you save him he will appear in this mission instead of Wreave (his brother). No fix yet, EA/Bioware are ignoring the issue and heavily censoring their board so I can't post there even if I have an account.

Please provide a solution to this bug if there is one or point me to the right direction, I'm not playing ME1 and ME2 again just so I can kill Wrex and progress through this mission.

If you don't import your ME2 character the game is short empty and without half of the characters.

This allowed me to proceed:
- Restart the mission from the load/save menu
- Take Javik (the Prothean from the release day DLC) with you on the mission

The bug seems to occur if specific characters appear in the mission. Wrex, "Major Salarian", Garuss and Liara/Vega are the deadly combination.
