I combined one of the tavern songs from Dragon Age with scenes from Mass Effect, trying to match them with the lyrics as much as possible.

Some times the match between scenes and lyrics is clear, other times it requires a degree of “creative interpretation.”

I always loved the Bard songs from Dragon Age: Inquisition.
They are simply masterpieces, evoking epic atmospheres that fit the Mass Effect settings as perfectly as they fit the original Dragon Age one.

This specific song is Rise and, like the other Dragon Age saver songs, is performed by the talented Elizaveta who made a truly outstanding work.

Dragon Age: Inquisition soundtrack, including the tavern songs, is published by EA so I can reasonably think they fall under their content usage policy (see credits paragraphs below). I made this as a form of tribute to both the games and the beautiful music.
I would have asked the singer herself but I had no idea on how to contact her. In these cases (when the soundtrack is published by EA) EA says to check their policy instead of asking them and so I did.

The policy states it’s ok to use their content for videos unless the music is licensed by third parties: and the Dragon Age: Inquisition soundtrack is published by EA.
