In this series of videos, I'll be playing through Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3: FemShep, mostly paragon. I have played through the games before, multiple times, and I'll be commenting on story, architecture, and game design while avoiding spoilers as much as possible.

Before we get too far into the first game, I should warn you that I go through all the side missions first, and they're really not very interesting. The game designers for Mass Effect 1 decided to save the best for last, so the interesting videos will not come until much later. But since that's how they designed the game, that's how I'm going to play it.

I'm playing the female Shepard because I've played the ManShep before, and I'm interested to see if it's any different. I'm playing paragon (choosing to be the good guy, if you're new to Mass Effect) because of my own personal values and life philosophy. I'm playing as the Soldier class because I really don't want to have to rely on my squad mates to do damage; the Soldier just shoots things and win, keeping things simple so I can ramble away or gawk at fancy architecture.
