David Berlind and Doug Gold founded Mass Events Labs in 2006 and sold it ~2 years later to CMP. They were able to set up all their IT (registration systems, budget tracking, etc.) in ~1 week using cloud services and produce their first event 5 weeks later. David says that cloud services gave his company the speed and agility to grow his business quickly and attract top sponsors.
