Master of Orion is the fourth in the Master of Orion games, which is one of the classic 4x games set in the futuristic space setting.
I have played the tutorial for this game, which is pretty much a very easy difficulty normal game with plenty of useful tips especially in the opening turns. However for more veteran 4x players, much of the game will seem fairly standard. It is turn based, but combat is played in a slimmed down RTS mode allowing for more tactical play. Something I loved in Imperium Galactic 2 and something I hoped for in Endless Space (one of my favouite 4x of all time) The game looks good and I'm hoping for a nice challenge going forwards!
