A year and a half later from this video(https://youtu.be/IVmb-k4_sTY), I revisit the Mutkurve. The "bravery corner", "Angstkurve(Anxiety Curve)". Whatever name it is called, it has rightfully earned it. At least for me, this complex of super fast kinks, Bergwerk-Kesselchen-Mutkurve-Klostertalkurve(Steilstrecke), has been the cause for most crashes, and Mutkurve was responsible for a good three-quarters of them. Braking from 280km/h and having to pass it at up to 224km/h on this car is a huge challenge. It has claimed countless number of runs for me, and in real life, people's lives.
It is one of the corners feared most by pro drivers as well, along with Schwedenkreuz(Swedish Cross), Fuchsröhre(Foxhall), and Bellof-S. It's tricky to maintain the speed without understeering wide and crashing, and it is followed by an equally fast and narrow right hander, which is almost a blind corner due to a little crest that comes before it.
This video is almost a trade secret for me, but now it's out.
