3. Be mindful of the relevant laws concerning lockpicks and related equipment in any country, state, or municipality where you seek to engage in hobbyist lockpicking or recreational locksporting.

You should be familiar with the relevant statutes in your home state of residence.

Also, don't pick locks that are in use. eg. your front door lock. You can absolutely pick your way to a broken door lock.
