Mat on the 6th hole at Clare Golf Club. The clip starts with Lee, Mark and Johnny on the 3rd, with Lee about to take his shot. For some reason they let several players play through, we got tired waiting in the end and decided to carry on.
Mat ended up left of the bunker. I ended up short yet again, needing 3 shots to get on the green. Dan was just right of the hole in the rough, any more and he would have gone in to the water.
All in all it was a great day out, I managed a 46 in the end on the front 9, which is a slight improvement from last time, when I shot a 54. I really need to work on my direction more and I need to work on my driver, with hind-sight I would have been better off using my 3 iron from the tee on the longer holes. My short game has improved slightly but for some reason my putting let me down. It was a beautiful day to play golf. Hopefully next time I can do better, at least I got par on the 7th, which has been a nightmare for me in the past. Last time I played the 7th it took me 12 strokes and before that 9, so making par made my day.
I have had issues with my swing recently, I have had to revert back to my old swing with a few tweaks which I am happier with, hopefully with more practice I can gain more confidence with it, I am still working on my grip as I feel its letting me done, or just doesn't feel right at the moment, but I'll get there.
