\( \mathrm{X} \) says, I will defame \( \mathrm{Y} \) as I dont like him. I will even say false and mean things about him that will cause damage to his reputation. Is the action of \( \mathrm{X} \) protected under Right to freedom of speech ? If not Key concept : freedom of Spech then state the reason. and Expression, allows an individual to take part in public activities.
No: the action of \( x \) is not protected under Right to freedom of speech. Though under freedom of speech and expression all are free to express their ideas, views but constitution do not allow angone to defame others by saying false and mean things that cause damage to inition a persons repution.
