Mating Zone (http://www.mobygames.com/game/mating-zone) was an action game published by Datamost in 1983 for the Apple ][. The game was a shoot 'em up with a twist - the aliens could mate with each other in the mating zone to become more powerful. Hope you enjoy the short play!

I tried going to different level to see if there is a special in-game sequence or animation, but sadly the game cycled back to Level 1 after Level 99 with no special effects.

The # of lives is stored at address $15 and you can get infinite lives by changing $729F from $C6 to $A5. The level is stored at $1C.
