Hello! Hopefully you will find this video useful. For me the bug appeared during the early access playthrough with my friend. Sam completely visually disappeared but we could still hear his commentary during interactions with other NPCs which indicates he was "following" us on missions. We managed to find a solution. Hopefully it works for you too :) !
