After the rather in depth tutorial, we are finally on the first mission. I will agree that this game has a slow start, but so do a lot of other epic stories. Take for example Lord of the Rings, or War and Peace. (Actually read an abridged War and Peace really get the appeal of it but people say it's a good story). Upon retro spect it's kind of brilliant. Cate (The main character) wants to go out into the field after doing boring assignments. Much like the player. So once you get to the first level you have the same feeling Cate does.
