Hello everyone! Welcome to a brand new MEP! This is an "open theme" MEP. An explanation for what that means will be down below. Additionally, since I know it's around the holiday season, if anyone chooses to join, the deadline is going to be longer than usual. Please read the entire description thoroughly if you're interested in joining! ❤

(side note: if you're in my "Before I Die" mep and your part is not completed, since this is going to have a much longer deadline, y'all are free to join but i ask you get your previous part done before you start on this one.)

● Explanation as to what an "open theme" mep is/what the goal of this mep is:
Basically, as the name suggests, this MEP's theme is almost completely open! This means that a participant can edit their part however they want within the rules, for example: If someone gets a part, they can pick the location, horse, coloring, pngs, etc., etc,.
Another choice someone would have is the possibility of just working off the theme in the MEP call (provided below) as they would in a regular MEP, or building off of that theme.
I'd love for everyone to be creative as possible! ❤ That's the goal of this MEP. However, if most people decide to just follow the theme, I'm not going to be upset. Whole point is that it's y'alls choice.

The theme used in the MEP call will be down below the usual rules for anyone that wants to use it or build off of it for their part. Please also read the notes section down below.
(please keep in mind, if you're not participating in this MEP, you're not allowed to use the theme below in any way.)

● RULES ●
● Do NOT take a part if you won't be able to finish by the deadline.
● Do NOT take a part if you're going to ignore parts of the theme/not follow it.
● Make your part in the standard youtube ratio (16:9) so it covers the entire screen.
● If multiple people ask for the same part, it’s not first come first serve.
● Make your part by the deadline, and if you need one, ASK for an extension.
● Leave 2-3 seconds before and after your part. No blackscreen, no text, it needs to be SSO.
● No phone recordings.
● Follow the theme.
● Have no one in the background of your clips.
● No using pictures.
● Use correct lyrics, they'll be down below.
● Do not add a in/out transition to your part at the beginning after the extra seconds or the ending of your part before the extra seconds.

● THEME ●
This is the provided theme/the theme used in the mep call.
● SSO THEME:
● Film in the mountainery region of Hollow Woods, near the Spymasters Hideout during the daytime.
● Any black/white gen 2/3 horse
● White, black, brown, blue, or a combo, outfit.
● EDITING THEME:
● Orange & dark blue coloring. (used a complementary color scheme). Orange for the sky, blue for the grass.
● Chalk pngs
● Chalk lines, circles, & arrow pngs (& more along that line)
● White or black text with borders or shadows of blue and/or orange.

If you're going to be using (or building off of) this theme, feel free to mix the colors up!

● Please try to keep your part colorful! This isn't a requirement, I'd just like everyone to be as creative as possible. ❤

● Use correct lyrics. The normal rules of a MEP still apply.
● Try not to have many dead seconds.
● If you need an extension, ask. As long as it's reasonable, I have no reason to deny you one.
