On her first day as Mayor of the city of Phoenix, Mayor Kate Gallego was joined by members of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Phoenix Pride, representatives of the Sikh and Muslim communities, two chapters of the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and mayors throughout the United States as she signed her first proclamation to end hate, extremism and bigotry in the city of Phoenix.
