The Type 95 is a bullpup assault rifle in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty Online, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It was also scheduled to appear in Call of Duty: Black Ops II but was replaced by the Type 25.

Survival Mode :
The Type 95 is available in Survival Mode at level 50, costing $3000.

It is very useful when facing enemies in close-quarters due to its extremely high damage. However, the hip-fire spread and the fire mode does not make it ideal. It is useful on any wave, but when facing multiple enemies, dogs or Juggernauts, it becomes less effective.

The Type 95's damage is widely variable. At any range short of twenty meters, the Type 95 will deal 55 damage per shot, needing only two shots to kill. Damage decreases linearly until fifty meters. At any range beyond fifty meters, the Type 95 will deal only twenty damage per bullet, needing five shots to kill. The Type 95 has a two shot kill range of 24 meters, a three shot kill range of 38 meters, and a four shot kill range of 45.7 meters. In Hardcore game types, the Type 95 has a one shot kill range of roughly 42 meters. The Type 95 is one of the only weapons other than a shotgun or sniper rifle that can get a two shot kill to the body, and the range on that two shot kill is very respectable too. The Type 95's three shot kill range is also very long, only shorter than the M16A4, the AK-47, and the MK14 in the assault rifle class. Performance at very long range will taper off badly once the Type 95 needs more than a single burst to secure a kill. The Type 95 gets a 40% damage boost with a headshot. These won't normally reduce the number of shots needed to kill unless at medium to long ranges. The Type 95 has medium penetration power, allowing it to pierce thin cover rather well.
