15Yes, it did bite me.
Yes. I am okay. (to the disappointment of my enemies, mwuahaha)
The snake was warming up and even though it was treated with kindness it was afraid. Well snakes most commonly do 3 things when they are afraid. They hide, they run, or they fight.
It couldn't hide. At the time I was not letting it run. So it sometimes felt like it had to fight.
And that is okay.
It was released safely to the wild later that same day.
Can't be mad at the little critter for acting out of instinct.
