Mechanical vs Membrane KB and mechanical keyboards explained
6Hey guys, Ayush here, and I am trying to explain what mechanical keyboards are and what's the difference between Mechanical and Membrane keyboards!
I just want to mention that if you want a better experience, I would surely recommend a Mechanical keyboard whereas the Membrane counter-parts are just inferior to Mechanical keyboards, in terms of:
1. Durability.
2. Customizability.
3. Performance.
I have tried to cover each of the fields, in order to explain why we require mechanicals and what's the difference between the two!

Actually, you guys can see the superstar on my video, ie Redgears Shadow Amulet, I mean, I purchased it almost 1.5 years ago and despite a lot of beating it got yet 🤣, it is still rocking and killing my hopes of getting a new keyboard!

I just want to remind you guys that there are keyboards, are superior to even mechanical ones and they are Optical mechanical keyboards, I mean they are mechanical but their way of registering a keypress is different, however, I would explain that only after getting one!
The Idea of mechanical keyboards is like you have different legs, springs switches, I mean there's entire structure inside each key of a Mechanical keyboard.
A membrane keyboard on the other hand is so simple, I mean, the keys are above, there's a membrane made of rubber below it, and below that is the PCB so when somebody presses the key, it presses the rubber under it, and that parts scrubs the PCB below, making it register the key-press.
