After the prince training contract, I took on a single mission contract, to capture a Free Rasalhague Republic Commander who had stolen his own mech. The government had forced old Cottingham into retirement, but the commander was not happy about it. He stole his mech and was probably making arrangements to escape off planet. My job was to shoot out one of his mech's legs to immobilize him. I was free to destroy other members of his unit who were assisting him.

This is a full playthrough of Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries, from my Twitch stream. I have to make a correction. On the left panel of the screen, it says hard difficulty. I had accidentally left it on medium difficulty for the first two streams. It was changed to hard on all streams after that. Also, this was done on "Mercenary Commander" mode. I did another playthrough on "Join a Mercenary" mode separately.
