Not a great idea to take this mission with assault mechs (or if you do, light assault mechs like Victor). It needs more speed than anything else, but you still need something that can take out Thanatos.

Thankfully, though, I have my Canis. Canis is a damn fine mech added in the Mektek Mech Pack. It has a respectable speed, and lets me mount one of my favourite weapons configurations, while remaining fairly fast and strong.
