Old Friends is the eleventh campaign mission for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Working from Hassan's Information, TF Mako pins the sales of PETN to a Gunrunner whom Dusty has history with from the War In Bosnia. TF Mako link up with TF Atlas GROM Operators whom Voodoo has a history with. They then chase the gunrunner through ruins of Sarajevo and fight many mercenaries he hired. After disabling his getaway vehicle. The gunrunner is captured and pushed to devel information as to where the missing PETN is being shipped.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a first-person shooter video game developed by Danger Close Games and published by Electronic Arts. It is a sequel to 2010's series reboot Medal of Honor and the fourteenth installment in the Medal of Honor series. The title was announced on February 23, 2012, and was released in North America on October 23, 2012, in Australia on October 25, 2012, and in Europe on October 26, 2012[1] on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
The games' single-player campaign picks up where Medal of Honor (2010) left off, as it follows the Navy SEALs from the previous game's AFO Neptune. Upon release, the game received mixed reviews, with praise for the visuals and the use of the Frostbite 2 engine but criticism aimed at the low texture quality on consoles, glitches, confusing storyline and poor artificial intelligence.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter uses the Frostbite 2.0 engine, which was made by another subsidiary of EA, DICE, which was the partner for Medal of Honor (2010). The engine has vastly improved the graphical schematics and allowed for more complex scenes.
Old features from the previous engine, such as "asking for ammo", peak & lean, and sliding have returned from the old engine. New features in the campaign are things like the Dynamic Door Breach and micro-destruction.
The story focuses on two Navy SEALs of AFO Neptune, namely Mother and Preacher. The game also focuses on their family life back at the States to reveal the family men behind the warriors.
The game is not based on a specific battle, instead focusing on real-world events such as Somalian pirate attacks and hostage rescues in the Philippines.
Preacher, Mother, Voodoo and other central characters are returning from Medal of Honor 2010. For the first time in the Medal of Honor series, other non-US Special Forces units are represented as well, such as in Task Force Atlas.
