Now to the actual populated areas. The Sleeping Village is an interesting fetch quest level. Citizens had their souls stolen during the intro and now they roam the streets, attacking anyone in sight. If Sir Daniel hurts the villagers, he loses his chances to get Chalice in this level. Instead, these boiler guards Zarok sent, kill them all. This level also fills in a lot of history and lore of Gallowmere. Sir Daniel reads through these history books while a axe-wielding maniac is right next to him the entire time. Anyhoo, the fetch quest; Sir Daniel needs to find the Shadow Artefact from the Mayor's safe in his house. He needs this unholy relic to get further in The Enchanted Forest... at the risk of unleashing the Shadow Demons. But to do that, Dan needs to find a key from the church and to get the key to the safe, Dan needs a crusifix and to get one, Dan has to find a mold and a metal bust to make one at blacksmith's shack.
