Meeting With the King of Worms (The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall)
3In episode 40 of our blind playthrough of Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall we act upon Morgiah's advice and travel back to Daggerfall, in order to talk with someone in the castle who is of lower standing. When we arrive we meet Cyndassa, who tells us she will give us information on the letter if we go and slay a werewolf for her. While we are looking for the werewolf we get a message from the King of Worms, who asks us to go and meet him at our earliest convenience. Once we return to Cyndassa she informs us that Aubk-i received the letter by mistake instead of Mynisera, and promised to deliver it to the correct person. We travel to meet the King of Worms who asks us to travel to Sentinel, and bring him the ghost of Prince Karolis, the great grandfather of the late King Camaron. He is now a lich, and are given a special scarab in order to trap him; in return for this the King of Worms will tell me a tale that few mortals have heard. Once we return to the King of Worms, he tells us about the Underking. He tells us that the Underking is the Battlemage Zurin Arctus that Tiber Septim betrayed near the end of his wars of conquest. We end the episode by reading King Edward Part 1.
