Before Wipeout and ExtremeG, there was Mega Race!
Annoyingly difficult game plays on Hardest setting for full ending. The track can go by so fast, and you have to kill all the racers before you run out of laps. However there are so many powerups in the road that can change your weapon and then instantly disable all you weapons, it can soon become very frustrating as you try to take down all the opponents. The good powerups and bad ones are far too close together which takes some of the fun out of the game. The missiles require so much energy, I don't think I used them more then once in the entire run.
This being the SegaCD version, the colour palette has taken a massive hit so barely resembles the pc/3d0 version, but was the easiest for me to record. -
