For the description, I'm gonna tell a story, so get comfortable.

Ah, Mega Man 2. I love this game to death, as it's the mega man game that caused me (and likely many others) to fall in love with this series. I got the NES classic edition as a Christmas present, and before that the only MM game I'd played was Power Fighters at my local arcade, and I really enjoyed it. I saw Mega Man 2 was on it and I was like "Oh hey, that's the guy from that arcade game I liked", so I gave the game a shot. I really enjoyed the game, but I wasn't able to beat a single one of the levels, but that only determined me more. I beat Wood Man finally, and after that, I decided to take on Crash Man. That level really pissed me off tbh lol, but once I got to the boss room, I entered the door feeling confident, (after save stating because I wasn't as much of an epic gamer back then ok?), and HOOOO BOY did Crash Man hand my ass to me. I had no idea wtf was going on when the battle started, he was just shooting those damn bombs at me like there was no tomorrow and it overwhelmed me. I felt a bit discouraged, questioning my ability to truly beat the game. However, I still felt like I could do it, and I kept trying. Countless failed attempts, tons of frustration, and honestly, I wasn't making much progress. However, one attempt I noticed something. Whenever I faced towards the wall crash man wouldn't bomb me, he'd just keep running, and eventually would run back a bit before finally shooting. I tried to take advantage of that, and then saw that he would jump when I would jump. That's when it clicked. Run towards each wall and let him chase you, then when you get to the edge jump and shoot him. Using this strategy, I finally managed to defeat him. I had such a huge rush of joy when I beat him, and from there, I beat the game, and had a blast doing it. Because of this experience, I have a real soft spot for Crash Man. He's the first boss that truly gave me the experience of overcoming challenges and learning from your mistakes in a video game. Despite the hate it gets MM2 is a game I still love, and is easily one of my favorite games to revisit ever.

tl;dr: I love crash man

Thanks for Watching!
