Welcome to the next part of my Mega Man classic series playthroughs: Mega Man 2! Widely regarded as the pinnacle of classic Mega Man, there's no denying how epic and awesome the sequel is (though I still prefer Mega Man 3 slightly over this).

Mega Man 2 features eight robot masters instead of six as well as six Wily stages instead of four. Of course, this wouldn't matter if the stages were boring but they're diverse and fun as well as containing some of the best designed robot masters in the series (in my opinion).

However, the weakness system is a bit off for my tastes as 4 of the eight robot masters are weak against Metal Blades (including Metalman himself!), a weapon with a ton of ammo (which kind of overshadows the other weapons a tad). Because of that, I recommend starting at Metal Man, since you'll be using his weapon a lot throughout the game.
