Welcome to my latest playthrough, which features none other than my favorite NES series of all time: Mega Man. This playthrough takes you through all six stages as well as the four Wily stages.

Mega Man 1 is known as the hardest of the six NES Mega Man games, but I'd have to disagree with that notion as it's merely about memorization. For example, the Yellow Devil becomes pretty easy once you learn his pattern (three jumps, a quick double jump over two more and one last hop) and the same goes with Iceman's platforms. Once you start to learn where enemies and traps appear as well as enemy movements, this game isn't that bad.

This game also features the most logical pathway and set of weaknesses (Cutters snip electricity wires, electricity melts ice, ice cools off fire, etc), so it doesn't take a few tries to see who's weak against what (and it's not like Mega Man 2 where it seems everyone is weak against Metal Blades). For this video, I take Gutsman down first (as his power up is necessary for Elecman's stage) and his pattern is pretty easy to follow, though you can take Bombman's stage down first if you're having trouble taking down Gutsman with your buster. Just make sure to do Gutsman's stage before Elecman or you'll have to do Elecman's stage twice.
