I'm combining my desire to learn Unreal Engine 4 with my absolute obsession with Mega Man 3. This is what I have managed so far. This might turn into a full fan game, but right now I'm just doing it for fun and experience. 3D assets, animation (Blender), music and sound effects (FLstudio) by me (yeah I have no life ok)
Added Nitrons, Bomber Pepes and Poles. Also added a health bar and more of the stage, but you still can't die.
I'm still tweaking basic functionality and things as I go along. If anyone knows if there's a way to render things in front of geometry with their normal material in UE4, please help a guy out! Managed to figure out how to use a post process material on the Nitrons when they go through the ground thanks to a helpful tutorial, but it doesn't have the desired effect (it's only one colour with an optional outline) so I didn't include it in this video.
