So now it's time to go shopping. After we get what we need, we run into Mayl and Yai, and say hi. Then Dad has to go to work again, no doubt to deal with that Asteroid that was found. So we head to ElecTown's Square and find out about a tournament being held...tomorrow. But before we can dwell on the incompetence of the announcer, there's some sort of commotion on the net. A vampire navi is sucking the life out of all the net navis. Before we can stop him, he makes a break for ACDC Area. He knocks around Glide and Guts Man and kidnaps Roll and takes her to Elec Tower's net.

Once we actually get access to the area, we gotta find these annoying Cyber Bats in order to open doors. Shade Man awaits at the end, and the fight we have with him is unwinnable as we can't actually damage him. We just gotta pelt him a few times and the fight ends. Proto Man arrives and chases him off and he drops some chip data. This, as we find out from Higsby, is a Dark Chip. Something very dangerous to have around and yet Lan just keeps it anyway despite that it's a danger to Mega Man. But whatever, we sleep on it and will no doubt deal with it later. Much later... __
