Spiked armadillos will release spikes before rolling to another spot. They cannot be damaged while rolling. Defeat some and climb some ladders. You’ll next see some armored cannons that will shoot bomb balls. They can only be damaged while opened up. Slide through a low wall and you’ll see some more armored cannons along with helmets. After a swarm of dragonflies, collect an Energy Tank and go down the ladder, where needles will appear from the ceiling, so focus your timing to get past them. Pass by some needles and climb the ladder to encounter an alien spinning a cannonball. After it releases the cannonball, attack it. Defeat an oval bouncer and go through the cap doors to battle against Needle Man. Needle Man will jump and release some needles. It will also come close to you and lunge its arm. The boss is weak against the Air Tornado and Top Spin. Defeat the boss and you’ll receive the Needle Cannon weapon.
