Der nächste Teil meines Mega Man Marathons führt mich zurück zur Nintendo-Konsole. "Mega Man & Bass" wurde am 24. April 1998 nur in Japan für den Super Famicom als "Rockman & Forte" veröffentlich. Einen Re-Release für den Game Boy Advance gab es allerdings im Jahr 2002/2003.
Dies ist das erste Spiel, in dem der Spieler Bass (als nicht-versteckten Charakter) steuern kann - was ich in meinem Mega Man Marathon auch mache.
Da "Mega Man & Bass" als alternative Story zu "Mega Man 8" für Playstation gedacht war, wird dieses Spiel auch gerne als "Mega Man 8.5" bezeichnet. Außerdem finden sich viele Elemente aus "Mega Man 8" in diesem Spiel wieder.
