I swear, sooner or later we'll have another stage without some sort of background effect what kills the file size... RAAAAAAAAAAAIN... Anyway, for everyone who has been complaining that I haven't been spending bolts, SHOPPING TRIP!!! This is basically how I usually play these games, I always save my bolts for the endgame, other than buying permanent upgrade items like the Energy Balancer. Considering you can't usually save between fortress stages, it just seems like good planning to me to gear up for the long haul there, rather than wasting it on things to just get through the normal Robot Master stages. And thus, we get to the ruined Skull Castle. The place has definitely seen better days... Going through it, we find a major problem I have with midpoints in the fortress... The secondary midpoint doesn't count unless you make it to the boss... so I had to redo part of the stage that, by all rights, I shouldn't have had to... The boss here... it's an interesting concept, but it kind of feels like there could have been a better, less instant death happy way to do it... At least its weakness kills it fast...
