Happy Thanksgiving 2013, viewers! This is video #01 in my playthrough of Mega Man V! Another solid entry in the Mega Man series. The Robot Masters are generally well done. It retains the Mega Buster upgrade from Mega Man IV, although now the Mega Buster charging gets interrupted when Mega Man gets hit. This one seems to cast Proto Man as a villain, which is an interesting plot twist. Unfortunately, this fact had a detrimental influence on the Mega Man TV series, especially since not all is as it appears in this game.
Throughout the eight Robot Master stages, Mega Man will be able to pick up the eight parts for Beat, a bird that can fly around and destroy enemies. The parts spell "Mega Man V." Some of the parts are easy to get, while others are challenging.
This video contains the game's introductory scenes, which play out before the player can start the game. At the title screen, we start the game.
Thanks for watching!
