I don't know too much about game maker, but Mario Obsessed had released his engine sometime last year it seems. So I've decided to dive into the world of game maker a bit on spare time, and figured out how to add in music, and mess around with the backgrounds as well as get used to the coding a little. I might just use this to get more familiar with game maker in general. Though backgrounds, sprites and sound leveling needs work, I'm still quite impressed with this engine.
