Mega Man X2 (SNES) 100% Playthrough

Here is a 100% playthrough of the game Mega Man X2, originally released for the Super Nintendo in December 1994 in Japan and throughout 1995 in North America and Europe. In this video, I collected each item required for 100% completion including: 8 Heart Pieces, 4 Sub-Tanks, 4 Dr. Light Upgrade Capsules, 3 of Zeros missing parts, and the secret 'Shoryuken' capsule. I died twice which is pretty average for my runs of this game, and for this time I got clumsy with the ride chaser trying to get the heart piece in Overdrive Ostrich's stage and messed up a mid-air dash at an attempt to go through the secret area in X-Hunter Stage 3.
Out of all the Mega Man games I played, X2 is by far my favorite in the franchise! I found the weapons and upgrades to be a lot of fun to use, and each of the bosses have super-unique patterns that make it feel fresh each playthrough. I also like the X-Hunter battles during the Maverick stages which can alter the ending of the game.
Here are some improvements made compared to my previous uploaded playthrough of this game:
- Slightly better video quality (I used a better capture card and tried an 8:7 aspect ratio for the game)
- Far less deaths
-Spent less time trying to get certain items (Wheel Gator's X-Buster upgrade, neon jumps, etc.)
- No revisiting stages
