This video I replay Mega Man X4, but this time choose Zero. His moves are all Saber-based, and some Mavericks just award techniques like double-jumping and air dashing instead of weapons. Due to this, many bosses Zero does not have a legitimate weakness to use against them, creating for a few challenging fights. Overall, his direct combat is better suited for fast movement through the stages and feels better than X. The voice acting is once again terrible, but the gameplay is fun. There are a few interesting cutscenes that show Zero's connection to Dr. Wily and Sigma's time as one of the good guys.
