This is easily the least favorite stage for anybody who has ever played this game for a couple reasons. First, THE LASERS. Yes, it's QuickMan's stage all over again, but 10x worse. You have to be either really lucky or fast as balls to get past all the lasers without the help of the Dark Hold special weapon. And if that wasn't enough, the Yellow Devil from the original Mega Man for NES returns as the Shadow Devil (although as a kid I always called it the Chocolate Devil... because it looks like chocolate) with a few new tricks up its sleeves. With all these things added together, this is truly the stage of nightmares.

Fun Trivia:

As mentioned before, Shadow Devil is a throwback to the Yellow Devil boss from the Classic series of Mega Man games, most notably the original Mega Man (NES) and Mega Man 3 (NES). Also, the boss music you hear here is a rendition of the Dr. Wily Fortress boss theme from the original Mega Man (NES).
