Mega Man X5 - Squid Adler [Minimalist / No Damage / Xtreme]
5Beating this stage took me way longer than it should lmao.
Small portions of RNG wiith the yellow thunder things throughout the level (because they can randomly move really fucking fast without warning) but it only affects the fastest route, you don't really need to take damage even at bad-RNG situations if you just take it slowly. Also, the chance of RNG fucking your fast route up is really minimal so who even cares?
The biggest problem here is the boss. For the longest time I thought his ground trap lasted for much longer than it actually does so I just kept jumping between walls and getting hit by either the boss himself (when he moves really fast to a wall and opens his tentacles) or his thunder boxes (which I never understood how they work). In general, it's best to stay on the ground unless it's trapped and only go up the walls to quickly misdirect the boss before going back to ground.
