Both were done in Synthfont. I thought of doing Cakewalk Studio but the plugin to use soundfonts wasn't downloadable. So I used this. For the Stage Select theme, i used instruments from Mega Man 7 (drum kit, synth brass) and Super Mario RPG (the high beeping which was the synth choir, the saw lead, the bass)
