We head off into our first two missions of the game and here we get introduced to a few new mechanics one is that the Cyber Elf system has been completely changed where you raise one Elf whose abilities you can choose. The other is the weather system which you can change the weather of a level to make it easier or harder for you to traverse, but this also effects the bosses along with determining whether you get their EX skill or not.
