Mega Man Zero/ZX Tech Guide - Reversals In-Depth
1,073Mega Man Zero/ZX series has a plethora of tools and advanced tech to the point where my tech guide couldn't possibly cover them all in-depth. In this new series, I'll dedicate taking key aspects and components of the Zero and ZX games, and giving them the spotlight in order to provide more clarity. Today, I present a tech guide for reversals, which are commonly seen to be a new player's bane for mastery. This guide will attempt to encourage you to apply what you've learned and practice, for the technique itself will always be fairly simple objectively. It's the execution that takes extensive hours, days or even weeks of practice to fully pull off with immaculate proficiency. As it'll be with a common theme going forward: just practice. Practice. Practice! You won't get better at reversals by just trying them out for a few minutes or hours. Do more playthroughs of the Zero games, and pay attention to the practice spots I've passively recorded for this video, as these are pretty great training spots that are much better than the ones I presented in the comprehensible All Tech Guide of the Zero series.
While there's no ZX footage in this video, reversals follow the exact same concept as the Zero games, as they're a copy/paste technique there, and all you're really doing in ZX is accommodating for things like range buffs/nerfs or extended/shortened active frames that'd coerce you to time them quicker.
