Mega Man X4 (Zero) - No Damage Run (No SDC Challenge)
595Mega Man X4 (PS1/PSX), as Black Zero, no damage playthrough/segmented speedrun of all stages and bosses, and restricting my use of Saber Dash Cancel (SDC) for the sake of salvaging some degree of challenge from an otherwise very easy game.
If you're wondering about the BGM being different (and as an unfortunate side effect, the before battle quotes from lategame bossing missing), this is a 2019 run where all of my recordings had muted music. I've filled the void with the remastered tracks of Mega Man Zero 1-4 (because I felt like it), and a couple other VGM like Street Fighter and Devil May Cry. Please do not comment to yell at me for replacing the BGM. It's just rude and I'll only just ignore it. I've explained why it is, so please don't make a fuss over something so miniscule. If you want to hear the game's OST, just play the game yourself.
Something I also forgot to note in the conditions screen is that I actively avoided weakness abuse. By "abuse," I mean repeatedly striking an enemy with its weakness to make them practically helpless (like spamming Ryuenjin on Peacock and Walrus, or zapping Mushroom to oblivion). This further augments the challenge for certain bosses.
