Megaman 7 - Part 1 "New Beginnings"
Introduction: Hey everyone. EvilGuy019 bringing you a new series I'm starting on my channel called "Retro Gaming Sundays." The concept is really simple actually. I basically play a series of games I grew up with and just classics, featuring systems such as SNES, Sega Genesis, GameBoy Advance & N64. Okay so I didn't really grow up with Sega Genesis (At least not that I remember.) but I've played games on the emulator before. This is really something I want to do because it really brings back good old memories in such. That and I really need to start moving this channel forward after being in a slump for a month due to my wii breaking down. Anyways, this series will feature commentary on and off. On, because I do want to start commentating. I think it would be interesting to do so. Off, because I can only do commentary when everybody is at work. Well, not true but I'd rather do it when everybody's gone that way there's no limit on how loud I can be. I just don't want to wait around in order to record. The videos that don't have commentary will probably have subtitles or something. I'm just seeing how things play out since this is the first episode after all. However, I'm not classifying this as a Playthrough or a Let's Play. So yeah, these will be uploaded every Sunday, taking the place of the SMW Custom Rush Series. Don't worry, the SMW Custom Boss Rush Series still exist. It's just been moved to Wednesday and the Random Video Series has been narrowed down to one day, which is Saturdays. For more info about the upload schedule, just check my profile.
Info: Man...oh man. I've only ever played this game like 2 times but the few times I've played I really did enjoy it and it's probably my favorite Megaman out of all the Megamans. I really do go way back with this game and I adore the soundtrack. So I've started this expecting to play skillfully.......but that wasn't really the case at all. I realized that I'm only decent at Megaman games and I'm a lot better at the X series. That and I usually play these games with tools. The introduction level didn't go as bad as expected though it could've went better. At least I get to fight ProtoMan though. The funny thing was, I died within the first few screens of burst man's stage in one of the takes. So I did practiced run once and tried again and didn't have much of a problem with the level this time around. Almost beat Burst Man on my first try but yeah things went south. Of course things don't go as smoothly when I'm actually recording. -_-
Well anyway, this isn't going to be a no death run. I haven't played Megaman games very much at all so I'm not use to the physics, difficulty and not being able to dash jump nor wall jump. Though I'll be practicing a lot to at least provide a somewhat skillfull playthrough. =D
