Wily uses Bass to destroy and absorb the Guardian Program holding Alpha in containment. After Bass absorbs the Guardian Program, he tests is "newfound" strength on us, only to be beaten...
Bass starts with an Aura(not to be confused with LifeAura, but that's later on) of 100. Anything under 100 damage will just be nullified while chips dealing 100 damage or more will break it. Employ chips like NorthWind if you're having trouble with his Aura.
This version of Bass is fairly weak. He'll send three buster shots before settling down in the backrow and uses his Buster Rake. You can Shield/Reflect them if you have those programs, or you can simply just dodge them if you're quick enough. If you stay in the back row, Bass will use his Earth Breaker and break all panels in your back row(he loses his Aura while he uses this). If you don't want his Aura to come back, make sure you Stagger him while he's using his Buster Rake or Earth Breaker.
Wily reveals, he was hoping MegaMan and Base, would delete each other, and amidst all the arguing, both Bass and Wiley are absorbed by Alpha. Alpha finally emerges and it's up to us to defend Net Society.
Alpha...This boss unlike any other final boss in the Battle Network series, is by far, my favorite boss. He's annoying but challenging.
He can only be damaged by attacking his core, and only if his core is exposed, you'll have to hit him twice with attacks that do 20 or more damage to expose his core.
Hopefully you have Shield/Reflect/fast reflexes for his machine gun(I just invis'd). Having Shadow Style helps out with avoiding some of the damage. He'll send 3 waves of double claw attacks, one vertical, then horizontal in the column and row you are on. Every now and then Alpha will shot a laser in a cross fashion and crack those panels(breaks them if they are already cracked. If you take too long, he has two different desperation moves...A lightning attack that alternates between the center row and the outer rows, and a giant missile that, acts like a spreader if it hits MegaMan(if it doesn't it goes to the back and the back two columns will explode). Neither can be guarded against, and both resets Alpha's goop shield.
No, I won't be showing the ending, as this was just a series of Boss Battles as I played through the game. Now the post game is available and I'll be gunning for Serenade and the Omega Navis, and then of course, Alpha Omega itself.
