4The very first X game that adds Zero as a playable character, you are restricted to a very minimalistic gameplay with him, and after X gets fully armored and skilled, he's a bit useless =( but he's strong =).
If he dies only ONCE you will never be able to use him again. If you use him once on a stage, you won't be able to play with him again until you reenter the stage from the stage select screen. His saber is obtainable by a very long method. He can only fight one miniboss through the whole game.
