Real Talk:
Discovering this on Steam (rather, it just being flaunted at me) was a real gem! Some times you can't beat good 'ol fashioned gun play. The Half Life 2 fare of weapons never did impress me much, but I found a plentiful supply of other weapons pretty quickly, so it balanced out. I never had to struggle with a weapon I didn't like for long. Just solid fun, and oddly compelling!
