Melvor Idle is officially being published by Jagex
2Melvor Idle, a popular idle-RPG, is being published by the creators of RuneScape, Jagex.
Melvor includes over 22 unique skills for players to hone, including 14 non-combat skills.
The game also included an in-depth combat system, and over 150 unique monsters to face, with 16 bosses.
Melvor is an independent game, developed by just one person, Brendan Malcolm, who has played RuneScape since he was a child.
Malcolm said: “Being able to work with Jagex directly on this has been a dream come true. I never would have imagined when I started development on Melvor Idle back in 2018 that I would eventually receive the support of the very studio that inspired me in the first place.
Both Malcolm and Jagex hope that the studios support of the title will breathe new life, allowing a new, untapped audience to discover Melvor.
The game will leave early access and release in earnest this November.
